An old sign inspired Ann
Shortly after moving into Grange Farm in 1981 Ann (the founder) came across an old Bed and Breakfast sign under the stairs which gave her the idea to rent our her spare bedroom. Soon after this came the conversion of the old stable block which created 5 perfectly quaint B&B rooms– and 35 years later here we are!

Five years on and The Granary was converted and Yew Tree Cottage was bought and renovated, along with a few caravans on the way! Grange Farm was growing by the minute.

In 2005, the family joined together to form a partnership known as Graves Properties. This new development reinforced the strong family values and the ethos in which they have built the business on. One of the farm buildings was later replaced by our ‘Courtyard Cottages’ and in 2010 the Lake View Cottages were built with outstanding views over both the fishing lakes and the play area.

The company and their luxury cottages became in demand, as people chose to holiday in England rather than travel abroad – as well being a massive accommodation provider to large contracting companies working nearby.

In 2015 we were granted approval for 15 additional caravans and lodges in addition to the 3 log cabins approved previously. 2016 saw the arrival of Badger’s Den, a 5* Lissett Lodge which is available for holiday let or purchase. We consider this the jewel in the crown as Graves Properties - now known as Grange Farm Park continues to improve and develop the site to give guests and holiday home owners a peaceful haven on a top quality park whilst remaining good value for money. This latest investment illustrates how committed the family has been in creating a successful holiday business.
